Quality Analysis

The quality analysis tools are available at any time in the Advanced Meshing Tools workbench, the Surface Mesher workshop and the Advanced Surface Mesher workshop.

 

Mesh Analysis Tools

Displaying Free Edges: Perform quick visualization of incompatible mesh.

Checking Intersections / Interferences: Check meshes to detect intersections and/or interferences.

Identifying Duplicate Elements: Identify and visualize duplicate elements.

Identifying Duplicate Nodes: Identify and visualize duplicate nodes.

Analyzing Element Quality: Analyze element quality, select and tune quality criteria.

Connection Summary: Visualize all connected analyses or mesh parts and the connections (not available in the Surface Mesher and the Advanced Surface Mesher workshops).

Returning Mesh Part Statistics: Return mesh part statistics dynamically (only available in the Surface Mesher and the Advanced Surface Mesher workshops).

Browsing Unmeshed Domains: Browse unmeshed domains (only available in the Surface Mesher and the Advanced Surface Mesher workshops).

Switching to Standard Visualization Mode: Switch to element standard visualization mode.

Switching to Quality Visualization Mode: Switch to element quality visualization mode.

Switching to Orientation Visualization Mode: Switch to element orientation visualization mode.

Cutting Plane: Cut plane visualization mode.

Elements Orientation: Elements Orientation visualization mode.

Shrinking Elements: Shrink 1D, 2D and/or 3D elements visualization.
