lsresidual tool available for download
Residual data is provided by the firmware to give the operating
system useful information about that machine it is running on.
I suppose it is an earlier version of the OpenFirmware device
tree. There is a utility called lsresidual that displays information
from the residual data. I've added a few features to this utility
for my own needs. So, here is my own version of the
tool to list PReP residual data.

Are you subscribed to linuxppc-dev@lists.linuxppc.org?
It seems that the machine running the above mailing list has had an
extended outage. In the meantime some kind souls have set up a new
mailing list to replace it. If you are interested in PPC development
(including RS/6000 PReP machines!), then subscribe to this new
PPC
development mailing list.

My new 7025-F30 just arrived and worked booted first time! The only
problems are that rebooting and powering off do not work.
