Methodology

In the industry, since early design, manufacturers (OEMs) need to exchange data with their suppliers. Sometimes, for different possible reasons, suppliers send incomplete design while manufacturers (OEMs) choose not to expose all of their documents.

This section discusses how data can be exchanged so that Intellectual Property (I.P.) protection is ensured. It explains how subsets of data can be sent as well as how incomplete design can be reintegrated into the information system (SmarTeam).
