Explode

You can use the explode functionality either:

Depending on your configuration, you can use the Explode I_ExplodeP2.gif (249 bytes) in V5 workbenches that handle products (such as DMU Fitting) or processes (such as DPM Assembly Process Simulation).  In addition, if you are in a process view, you can switch to a product view.  If that product view is a workbench that uses Explode I_ExplodeP2.gif (249 bytes), you can use Explode I_ExplodeP2.gif (249 bytes)in that view, and your changes will be visible in the process.

You can shift from a process view to a product view by selecting the product on the PPR tree and double-clicking on it.  You will be put in the product view of the last product-view workbench you accessed.  (To return to the process view, double-click on the Process node on the PPR tree).

Alternatively, you can select the desired product-view workbench from the Start menu.

The procedures listed below describe how to use Explode I_ExplodeP2.gif (249 bytes)

Procedures involving shuttles or sequences do not work in the process view.
