CICS Clients are a family of clients on Intel, Apple Macintosh and Sun Solaris workstation platforms which communicate with CICS servers. This includes the CICS 3270 and printer runtime environment, a development kit for the CICS External Presentation Interface (EPI), and CICS External Call Interface (ECI). The CICS Client for OS/2 also includes the CICS Gateway for Lotus Notes, the CICS Internet Gateway for OS/2 and a REXX interface to the ECI.
