CICS Internet Gateway product provides transparent communication between the IBM Internet Server for AIX and 3270 CICS for AIX applications. This brings the industry standard Transaction Processor, providing intercommunication with other secure CICS Systems, to the Internet.
It consists of a single installable package, cig.rte, which contains the complete CICS Internet Gateway.
The CICS Internet Gateway software requires approximately .3MB of disk space.
Requisite software must be installed before or with this package.
