Starting Computer-Aided Instruction Courses (learn Command)

You can practice using files, editors, macros, and other features with the learn command, which provides computer-aided instruction courses. The first time you use the learn command, you are guided through a series of questions to determine what type of instruction you want to receive. After the first time, you are positioned at the place where you ended your previous learn command session.

The learn command searches for the first lesson containing the subject you specified. You can specify any of the following as subjects:

For example, to take the online lesson about files, type:

learn files

Press Enter.

You will then be prompted for further input.
