The graPHIGS portion of this licensed program contains software which enables the user to develop or run applications using the graPHIGS API. This portion of the licensed program also contains support for ISO PHIGS and Graphic Kernel System (GKS). In addition, the IBM SoftGraphics graPHIGS support is provided as an optional installable package that enables you to use AIX for rendering operations.
The PEX portion of this licensed program contains software which enables the user to develop or run applications using PEXlib 5.1 API. This portion of the licensed program also contains support of the Common Graphics Environment (CGE) PEX 5.1 Extensions. In addition, IBM SoftGraphics PEX support is provided as an optional installable package that enables you to use AIX for rendering operations.

The PEX_PHIGS.info.en_US fileset requires that the bos.info.en_US.nav fileset be installed first. When the latest level of the bos.info.en_US.nav fileset is installed, the previously installed level of PEX_PHIGS.info.en_US is removed. Before installing the PEX_PHIGS.info.en_US fileset, refer to the Special Migration Notes section of the bos.info.en_US fileset for more information.
