If you have the IBM Recoverable Virtual Shared Disk subsystem running on each virtual shared disk node, the configuration task accomplishes this step for you as soon as quorum is met.
If you do not have recoverable virtual shared disks, use the IBM Virtual Shared Disk Perspective to start your virtual shared disks and hashed shared disks. See Changing the states of Virtual Shared Disks.
