The recommended XGA-2 driver for Windows 95/98/98SE is XGA208 providing High Color support at screen resolutions of 800x600 and 832x620 and a great number of high resolution modes of up to 1600x1200. The XGA208 Windows NT Video Miniport provides the adapter hardware interface services for the Windows NT XGA Display Driver, which however is only able to use the 256 color XGA208 modes.
