| Here's my son, Alex, with his
Pinewood Derby car. Alex placed 2nd in Class A in the 1997 Pack 51 Pinewood
Derby competition. He was quite thrilled, as was his proud father.
Update: We did it again! Alex placed 2nd in Class A in the 1998 Derby. I'll try and get a picture of the 1998 car up sometime soon. For those not familiar with the way we run our races, Class A is the class comprised of the fastest four cars in the pack, determined by a series of preliminary heats. Pack 51 is quite a large group, so it is quite an accomplishment to place that high two years in a row! |
