Customizing

Before you start your first session, you can customize the way you work to suit your habits. This type of customization is stored in permanent setting files: these settings will not be lost if you end your session.

To access them, proceed as follows:

Select the Tools -> Options command.
The Options dialog box appears.
Select the Digital Mockup category in the left-hand box.

Select the DMU Optimizer sub-category.
The DMU Optimizer and DMU Sectioning tabs appear.

The DMU Optimizer tab lets you customize options dealing with:

Alternate Shape Management
Wrapping Color
Vibration Volume Color
Save Management for Swept Volume

The DMU Sectioning tab lets you customize settings for:

Section Planes
Section grid
Results Window

Other tabs are also needed for DMU Optimizer.

To access preview settings, select the Digital Mockup category, then click the General tab

To access Cache settings, select the Infrastructure category category, then the Product Strcuture sub-category

Click the tabs of interest:

Cache Management
Product Visualization

Set options in these tabs according to your needs.
Click OK in the Options dialog box when done.
