PSF/AIX: Output cut off when printing IPDS on a PCL printer with A4 paper

 Hi,                                                                            
   The customer just has PCL printers and he want to print IPDS jobs.           
As we are using PSF/AIX, this convertion is possible using the command          
qprt -P  -dp -Zą in the PSF/6000 queue, but the PCL printer           
doesn't print correctly. When submitting a Portrait job, the bottom of          
the A4 sheet (about 5,0 milimeters) is not printed. The same using a            
Landscape job (the printer doesn't print the same size but in the right         
side). It looks like an offset problem, but I've already checked a lot          
of settings and tried the same test in different PCL printers (IBM 4312         
and a HP PCL laser printer). The formdef and pagedef used aren't the           
default. We are adapting one for the customer needs. These jobs were            
tested in VM environment and native IPDS printer and it is OK.                  
                                                                                
  Do you have any suggestion for this case? Should I use any other              
parameter when submitting a job with the command enq ? (The command I'm         
using is: enq -P  -odatatype=line -opagedef=

Since you're printing to a PCL printer with A4 paper size, you must             
configure the Bin Mapping options under Show / Change Characteristics           
of a PSF for AIX Printer.  The default paper size in the bin mapping            
characteristics is LETTER; you will need to change the value for each          
bin to your correct paper size, then bouce that print queue (psfctl -dtu        
qname). It is not sufficient to disable and reenable the queue; the ain*        
processes must be stopped and restarted so the PSF printer profile with         
the changed values is reread.
