I'm trying to put together a software configuration for PSM for my
customer, and having a difficult time. Can you please verify?
I have AIX V4.2
PSM V1.2
PSF
PSM GUI
I believe I also need DCE Base svs/6000
Security svr/6000
DCE cell dir server/6000
DCE Threads 1.3
and AIXWINDOWS
But, I can't seem to find these in the configurator, so I'm not sure
if I need them or not. I just need this configuration for pricing
right now. Can you please verify what I need? Thanks.

The best source of information is the publication "Installing PSM for
AIX", S544-3999-02.
For AIX V4.2, you will need to use PSM 1.2.1. Both the DCE threads and
Xwindows are included with AIX V4.

According to the PSM Installation Guide (S544-3999-02), on pages 15ff
it says:

installed on each AIX processor that will contain a PSM AIX client,
spooler, or supervisor.
- IBM AIX Version 4.2.0 for RISC System/6000 (5765-655), including the
following object modules:
- bos.rte 4.2.0.0
- bos.rte.libc 4.2.0.0
- bos.rte.libpthreads 4.2.0.0
- bos.net.nfs.client 4.2.0.0
- bos.mh 4.2.0.0. This object module applies to the PSM spooler and
supervisor.
- printers.rte 4.2.0.0. This object module applies to the PSM AIX
supervisor.

4.2 client software)
- dce.pthreads.rte 2.1.0.0
- IBM DCE Client Services (provided with AIX 4.1.4 and 4.2 client
software) with object module:

The following DCE servers must be installed and running within the
DCE cell that will contain any PSM AIX clients, spoolers, or
supervisors:
- IBM DCE Security Services for AIX Version 2.1 (5765-533) with object

- IBM DCE Cell Directory Services for AIX Version 2.1 (5765-534) with
object module dce.cds.rte
