The Encina Server for AIX package contains the Encina Server runtime and development toolkit. It includes the Encina Log Service, Recovery Service (REC), Lock Service (LOCK), Volume Service (VOL), Transactional-C (TranC) server extensions, the Encina Restart Service, and X/Open TM-XA. The package consists of the separately installable fileset, encina.server.
The Encina Server for AIX software requires approximately 3.2 megabytes of disk space.
Requisite software must be installed before or with the filesets you are installing from this package.
