AIX DirectTalk/6000 is a computer-based voice processing system designed to meet the ever-expanding requirements for providing business information over the telephone.
The complete voice processing system comprises the DirectTalk/6000 product, one or more IBM 9291 or IBM 9295 processors, and a system with one or more Digital Trunk Adapters or Digital Trunk Dual Adapters.
The voice processing system is connected to callers via the telephone network and to information in databases via your data communications network.
