mach Command

Purpose

Displays the processor type of the current host .

Syntax

mach

Description

The mach command displays the architecture of the system processor.

Exit Status

0
The command completed successfully.
>0
An error occurred.

Examples

  1. To display the processor type of the current host use the mach command in the following way: 
    mach

Files

/usr/bin/mach Contains the System V mach command.
