chkey Command

Purpose

Changes your encrypting key.

Syntax

/usr/bin/chkey

Description

The chkey command prompts you for a password and uses it to encrypt a new encryption key. Once the key is encrypted, the ypupdated daemon updates the /etc/publickey file.
