accept, reject Command
Purpose
Accepts/rejects print requests.
Syntax
accept Destinations
reject [ -r Reason ]
Destination
Description
The accept command allows the queuing of print
requests for the named Destinations. A Destination
can be either a printer or a class of printers. To find
out the status of a destination, run lpstat -a command.
The reject command prevents queuing of print requests for the named
destinations. A destination can be either a printer or a class of printers. To find
out the status of a destination, run lpstat -a command.
Flags
-r Reason |
Assigns a Reason for rejection of requests. The Reason
applies to all of the specified Destinations.
The lpstat -a command reports the reason.
If it contains blanks, Reason must be enclosed in quotes.
The default reason is unknown reason for
existing destinations, and new destination for
destinations just added to the system but not yet accepting
requests. |
