The netname2user subroutine converts from an operating-system-independent network name to a domain-specific UID. This subroutine is the inverse of the user2netname subroutine.
Upon successful completion, this subroutine returns a value of 1. If unsuccessful, it returns a value of 0.
This subroutine is part of Base Operating System (BOS) Runtime.
