Moving a Printer to Another Port

Prerequisites

• The printer must be physically attached to your system.
• You must have root authority.
• You must have previously defined and configured a printer port. See Configuring a Printer without Adding a Queue.

Procedure

1. At the system prompt, type wsm, then select Devices.
2. In the Web-based System Manager Devices window, select the printer object you want to move.
3. Select Move To... from the Selected menu.
