This book is intended for system administrators who perform system management tasks that involve NIS or NIS+. Familiarity with the Base Operating System and the material covered in AIX 5L Version 5.1 System Management Guide: Communications and Networks, AIX 5L Version 5.1 System Management Guide: Operating System and Devices, and AIX 5L Version 5.1 System User's Guide: Communications and Networks is necessary.
