Site Privacy

This site collects no personal information. The only statistics collected on this site are which of our pages get the most visits and what search terms may have brought people here. No IP addresses or other information are accessed or kept by us.

No scripting of any sort is used on this site in any area. Nor is there any active content, including but not limited to Flash technology.

Anti-spamming measures are used to protect our e-mail addresses, but they will not stop any legitimate e-mail from coming through. The only requirement to contact us by e-mail is to have image display turned on in your browser. We apologize for the inconvenience of not having links to send us e-mail quickly, but spamming has forced us to remove them.

Spammers should be aware that sending any unsolicited e-mail to this address in order to market any product or service of any type is unwelcome at this site. Take your spamming elsewhere. We actively report all spamming activity.

Sites that Walsh Computer Technology hosts under this domain must adhere to this privacy policy as well.

Service Privacy

Your computer probably contains quite a bit of information you would consider confidential--and our policy regarding your confidential data is simple. Your information never leaves your computer unless your data is at any risk of being destroyed. If any data is transferred off of your computer A) it is stored on a system with no link to other computers and B) it is irretrievably destroyed after being replaced to your computer or any other storage media that will be given to you should your computer be unable to store your data safely.

We do not read any data file on your computer system unless it is necessary to do so--as it may be in efforts to move data from one program to another in order to ensure that such operations succeeded.

System Requirements:

The policy at Walsh Computer Technology is simple. This site is to be accessable and enjoyable by anyone, anywhere, regardless of their choice of browser or operating system. This site has been largely tested on Internet Explorer as it's our browser of choosing, but we have also tried Opera and OffByOne with good results. This site is also usable with Netscape.

For your computer, a 386SX or higher CPU is recommended, along with a VGA color display.

Your connection speed should be at least 14.4kbps to use this site.

You will have to use a system that supports the hardware requirements of your browsing software, but beyond that I try hard to keep pages that load quickly and work acceptably on both older and newer hardware. Your browser must fully and properly support tables.

I don't recommend less than a VGA display to view this site. With the recent minor redesigns (change of the background color mostly) these pages should display nicely in anything from basic VGA to the latest and greatest high color video systems. A VGA color display with 16 colors is the minimum recommended to make good use of this site. For the ideal experience, I recommend 256 colors minimum.

For pages with illustrations or photos, you should ideally have a display capable of 256 colors.

NOTICE: Walsh Computer Technology reserves the right to change any policy contained on this page without notice to you other than in the form of an update to this page. While it is not likely for this policy to change in any way, it is a good idea to check this page every now and then for updates.
