The following discusses the software and procedures needed to set up both man pages and InfoExplorer in AIX version 4.1 and 4.2 systems.
This document applies to the InfoExplorer and man pages from the hard drive only.

Prerequisites:
echo $LANGUse the command smit chlang to change the LANG variable.

To determine if these filesets are installed on your system, use the command lslpp -l filesetname.
To install the necessary filesets, use the command smit install_latest. For more information, refer to the AIX Installation Guide.
In addition to bos.info.rte, bos.info.en_US.nav, and bos.info.en_US.cmds_ref, the following filesets should be installed according to your application needs.
