The xdr_pointer subroutine provides pointer chasing within structures and serializes null pointers. This subroutine can represent recursive data structures, such as binary trees or linked lists.
Upon successful completion, this subroutine returns a value of 1. If unsuccessful, it returns a value of 0.
This subroutine is part of Base Operating System (BOS) Runtime.
