Displaying the Name of Your Console (lscons Command)

AIX Version 4.3 System User's Guide: Operating System and Devices

The lscons command writes the name of the current console device to standard output, usually your screen.

For example, at the prompt, enter:

lscons

The system displays a message similar to the following:

/dev/lft0
