The Performance Toolbox Manager - Common Support package contains the commands and utilities that are common between the Performance Toolbox Manager - Network Support and the Performance Toolbox Manager - Local Support filesets. It consists of a single fileset, perfmgr.common.

Stop Performance Agent Daemons and Utilities before installing another version of the software. If the performance agent daemons had been running, then reboot the system after installation. OEM agents can be installed on HP and Sun machines by copying the installation script to the OEM machine and running it.
The perfmgr.common fileset replaces the perfmgr fileset on machines which contain the perfmgr fileset.
