AIX Version 4.3 Package Guide for LPP Installation

AIX Connections Server Software Package

This package contains all the AIX Connections server software which includes NWserver, MACserver, LSserver, and the Common Service File.

Fileset Names

connect.server.nwserve NWserver

This fileset contains files that are required to run the NW server.

connect.server.macserve MACserver

This fileset contains files that are required to run the MAC server.

connect.server.lsserve LS server

This fileset contains files that are required to run the LS server.

connect.server.com Common Service File

This fileset contains the software that is common for all AIX Connections clients and servers. Software in this fileset includes network administration support through the system management interface tool (SMIT).

connect.server.admin Connections HTML Administration

This fileset contains an HTML (internet web browser compatible) system administration and configuration interface for AIX Connections. This graphical interface simplifies the administrator's tasks and provides support for network management through an internet web browser. It allows network management to be performed from any AIX server that has a web browser installed.

Approximate Disk Space Required

The AIX Connections Server software requires approximately 23.9 MB of disk space.
