The Accounting Services package contains accounting services that support or enhance the base operating system (BOS). This is optional software that is not needed by bos.rte. The Accounting Services package has one fileset, bos.acct, that allows you to collect and report the individual and group use of various system resources.
The Accounting Services package requires approximately .2MB of disk space.
Run /usr/sbin/acct/shutacct to turn off system accounting before installing.
