If you intend to use InterSystem Communication (ISC) functions to or from your CICS regions, the following requisite software must be installed before or with the filesets you are installing from this package.

If you intend to use local SNA support with CICS for AIX, the following requisite software must be installed before or with the filesets you are installing from this package.

If you intend to use SNA LU6.2 SyncPoint Level 2, or wish to access a remote SNA system via an intermediate machine, you need to install the Encina Peer to Peer Gateway (encina.gateway) product.

You need to install file control support for CICS Server Either Encina Structured File Server for AIX (encina.sfs) or Database/2 for AIX (db2_02_01) can be used. It may be possible to install and access the file server support from a different machine to the CICS Server software; for further information see CICS for AIX Planning and Installation Guide, order number GC33-1773.

If you intend to use the Screen Design Aid (SDA), the following requisite software must be installed before or with the filesets you are installing from this package.
