CICS Base for AIX Package Information

The CICS Base for AIX Package contains header files, libraries and other files required by both the CICS Server and CICS Client packages and consists of the following separately installable filesets.

Fileset Names

cics.base.rte	CICS Base Run-Time This fileset contains libraries and other files required to run the server and the client.
cics.base.adt	CICS Base Development System This fileset contains header files required to develop applications on both the client and server.

Approximate Disk Space Required

The CICS Base for AIX software requires approximately 2.2MB of disk space.

Requisite Software

Requisite software must be installed before or with the options you are installing from this package.
