Using Display Session on 3151, 3161, 3162, 3163, and 3164 Keyboards

For the display session to function properly, the 3151, 3161, 3162, 3163, and 3164 terminals must be configured as follows.

Note: *The 3151 expansion cartridge is required. The feature code is 8535.

For the Communication Setup, the setup options must match the tty characteristics using SMIT.

Note: All line characteristics must match the POWERserver or POWERstation terminal definition.

For the display session to function properly, the 3151, 3161, 3162, 3163, and 3164 keyboard must be configured as follows:

The Default Key Functions table contains the default HCON key functions on the 3151, 3161, 3162, 3163, and 3164 terminal keyboards. See "Special Keys" for a description of these functions.

Note: This family of terminals cannot be used in a DBCS environment.
