System Expert is a Remote Monitoring Service that simplifies the management of RS/6000 systems. Through the System Expert service, your systems are continuously monitored by IBM's System Expert Support Center, providing you with the information you need to proactively manage your RS/6000s.

How is System Expert provided?

IBM's System Expert Support Center continuously monitors your RS/6000 systems using either an Internet email or a modem-to-modem electronic connection. Data from monitored systems is gathered and analyzed by IBM and detailed information on the status of your systems is quickly delivered in the form of reports, graphs and real-time alerts.


The Full Service Offering

The full service offering is the System Expert Comprehensive Reporting Service. It is a fee-based offering which provides you with the detail and frequency of information you need to assure security and availability, and to effectively monitor system utilization, capacity, and performance. The Full Service offering includes daily in-depth analysis, real-time critical event notification, meaningful recommendations, customized reports and more.
