This weekly graph provides a six month rolling view of the allocated
and unallocated disk space for ALL volume groups. Selected individual
volume groups, such as 'rootvg' may also be graphed as well as
combinations of specific volume groups.
The root volume group contains all AIX operating system files, and possibly other application files, and is therefore critical to the operation of the machine. It is recommended that 'rootvg' capacity be monitored on a routine basis.
This graph also provides the user with the ability to predict when the volume group will reach capacity, based upon a least squares analysis of historical growth.
