Creating the diskette
1. Download the file to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
2. Insert a blank, formated disk into the floppy drive.
3. Run the file by double-clicking on it from File Manager, Windows Explorer, or by typing the
name of the file from a DOS prompt in the directory where you downloaded the
file. For example, if you downloaded the file into a directory called TEMP,
from a DOS prompt you want to first change to that directory (type CD\TEMP and
press Enter) and then type in the filename that you downloaded.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen and it will expand the image onto
your diskette drive.

Installation Instructions
DOS
1. Insert the IDE Driver Diskette into the diskette drive.
2. Type A: and press Enter.
3. Type INSTALL and press Enter.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
5. Press Esc key to Exit and Save twice.

Windows 3.11
1. Start Windows.
2. Select File... from the Program Manager window; then select Run... from the pull-down menu.
3. Insert the IDE driver Diskette into the diskette drive.
4. Type A:\INSTALL and press Enter.
5. Select Setup DOS Driver item and then press Enter.
6. Type the target drive and the directory.
7. Press Esc key to Exit and Save.
8. Select Setup Windows 3.x Driver item and then press Enter.
9. Type the windows directory.
10. Press Esc key to Exit and Save.
11. Press Escape to complete the installation.

Windows 95
1. Select My Computer, Control Panel, and then Add New Hardware.
2. Click on Next> to continue.
3. Click on No when asked to search for new hardware, and then click on Next>.
4. Select Hard Disk Controllers and click on Next>.
5. Click on Have Disk and insert the IDE Driver Diskette in the diskette drive.
6. Type A:\WIN95 in the Copy manufacture's files from: dialog box and click OK.
7. Select ALi Bus Master PCI to IDE Controller and click on Next>, then click on Next> again.
8. Click on Finish to finish adding new hardware.
9. Select System from Control Panel.
10. Click on the Device Manager tab.
11. Click on the + mark for Hard disk controllers.
12. Click on Standard Dual PCI IDE Controller and click on Remove and OK to remove the old IDE driver.
13. Remove the IDE Driver Diskette from the diskette drive and click on Yes to restart the computer.
14. When the computer restarts, the system will automatically detect the ALi IDE Controller.
15. Click on Yes to restart the computer.
