Description: These files will update the ESS audio driver on the system to version 4.05.00.1092. They will also update the software wavetable to maintain compatibility with this new driver level. Extracting the update: No extraction is necessary. NOTICE: You must download and install both of these updates. Downloading and installing the new Drivers: 1. Download ESSUPUS.EXE to your hard drive or to a floppy diskette. 2. Execute ESSUPUS.EXE. 3. A series of prompt screens will appear. 4. Click 'Next'. 5. You will see a license agreement. Read it carefully. If you agree, click 'Next' to continue. 6. Click 'Finish'. 7. Click 'Next'. 8. Choose "Upgrade Drivers" and click 'Next'. 9. Choose "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click 'Finish'. Downloading and installing the updated Wavetable: 1. Download ESSSWTEN.EXE to your hard drive. 2. Execute ESSSWTEN.EXE. 3. A series of prompt screens will appear. 4. Click 'Next'. 5. You will see a license agreement. Read it carefully. If you agree, click 'Next' to continue. 6. Click 'Finish'. 7. Click 'Next'. 8. Choose "Install ESS Software Wavetable" and click 'Next'. 9. Choose "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click 'Finish'.
