Extracting to the diskettes:
1. Click each of the file links above to download the files to your hard drive.
2. Select Start -> Find -> Files or Folders.
3. Ensure that the Look In field is set to My Computer.
4. Enter rw154*.exe in the Named field and click Find Now. This will search your hard drive
for the files you've just downloaded. When found, the files will be listed for you.
5. Insert a blank 1.44mb 3.5" floppy diskette into the diskette drive.
6. Double click rw15401.exe and follow the onscreen instructions. A black screen will appear asking you to insert a disk into the A: drive. Press the Enter key. You should get a message that the process completed without error. Close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.
7. Remove the diskette and label it "Rockwell modem drivers, Disk #1".
8. Insert another blank 1.44mb 3.5" floppy diskette into the diskette drive.
9. Double click rw15402.exe and follow the onscreen instructions. A black screen will appear asking you to insert a disk into the A: drive. Press the Enter key. You should get a message that the process completed without error. Close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.
10. Remove the diskette and label it "Rockwell modem drivers, Disk #2".
11. Insert another blank 1.44mb 3.5" floppy diskette into the diskette drive.
12. Double click rw15403.exe and follow the onscreen instructions. A black screen will appear asking you to insert a disk into the A: drive. Press the Enter key. You should get a message that the process completed without error. Close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.
13. Remove the diskette and label it "Rockwell modem drivers, Disk #3".
14. Insert another blank 1.44mb 3.5" floppy diskette into the diskette drive.
15. Double click rw15404.exe and follow the onscreen instructions. A black screen will appear asking you to insert a disk into the A: drive. Press the Enter key. You should get a message that the process completed without error. Close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.
16. Remove the diskette and label it "Rockwell modem drivers, Disk #4".
Extracting files to your hard drive:
1. Insert disk #1.
2. Click Start -> Run, then enter a:\rw154.exe and click OK.
3. You will be prompted to "insert last disk".
4. Remove disk #1 and insert disk #4 then click OK.
5. The next window will ask for a directory into which the file will be extracted. Leave this set to the default, c:\rw154. Click the Extract button.
6. You will be asked if you wish to create the directory. Click YES.
7. You will be asked for disk #1. Remove disk #4, insert disk #1 and click OK.
8. When prompted, remove disk #1, insert disk #2 and click OK. Repeat this for disks #3 and #4.
9. Remove disk #4 from the floppy drive.
Installing the drivers:
1. Click Start -> Run, then enter c:\rw154\setup.exe and click OK.
2. You will see the Rockwell welcome screen. Click Next.
3. You will be asked if you wish to Reinstall your drivers since there is already as set of drivers installed. Select YES then click Next.
4. Windows will remove the old drivers and copy the new drivers to the appropriate directories.
5. Windows 98 will find new hardware and the "Add new hardware wizard" will install the updated drivers. Click Finish when the install has completed.
