A Word to Visitor

Welcome!

As far as I know, this is the first site on the Net, ever created, which is dedicated to the NCR computers of the 20th Century. It’s a great pity that thousands of people who programmed, maintained and operated the NCR computers, have little possibility, if any, to find related materials on the Net easily and free. At least it was not so easy for me while surfing the Net, when I decided to find something about ‘my NCR computers’, to refresh my memory.

This is not an official site, and is not created or endorsed by the NCR. Most of the information on this site is based on the memories of the author and represents my personal recollections and opinions. While every care has been taken in the compilation of the information contained herein, The Core Memory gives no guarantee as to its currency, accuracy, completeness or quality. The Core Memory expressly reserves the right to make changes to this website or parts thereof without notice. Special thanks to those of you, who made their contributions to the site.
