Abstract: NETFINITY 5600: MAY REBOOT LOOPING ON QUICK TEST DIAGNOSTICS

SYMPTOM:

The Netfinity 5600 may exit diagnostics and reboot when quick test diagnostics is run.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

•  The system is any of the following IBM Netfinity servers:

    a Netfinity 5600 server, Type 8664, any Model.

•  The system's Diagnostics are Build level TNYx21A.
    (Note: Build level can be seen in setup under product information.)

•  The system has the described symptom.

FIX:

Download and apply the current diagnostics diskette "IBM Netfinity 5600 Diagnostic Update Diskette 1 of 2 version 1.01" or higher (build level TNYx22A or higher) from the following URL:
