Abstract: CANNOT CREATE A PARTITION GREATER THAN 1 GB DURING NT SETUP

TEXT:

Cannot Create Partition Greater than 1 GB during NT setup.

SYMPTOMS:

During installation of Windows NT Server with more than one drive installed, the
"Unpartitioned Space" detected on the boot drive by Windows setup is only 1024 MB.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

•  The system is any IBM Netfinity server.
•  The system's Diagnostics Pass.
•  NOS affected:
  •  Microsoft Windows NT Workstation versions 3.5, 3.51, 4.0
  •  Microsoft Windows NT Server versions 3.5, 3.51, 4.0
