Services failed to start installing NT 4.0 using ServerGuide.
SYMPTOMS:
The following errors will show up at the end of the installation of NT 4.0 in the Event Viewer:
Type: Error, Category: None
Description: The I2C service failed to start due
to the following error: The system cannot find the
file specified.
Type: Error, Category: None
Description: The LM78 service failed to start due
to the following error: The system cannot find the
file specified.
Type: Error, Category: None
Description: The PMEM service failed to start due
to the following error: The system cannot find the
file specified.
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

FIX:
This will be fixed in ServerGuide 5.0.
WORKAROUND:
DETAILS:
When the I2C, LM78 and PMEM services are installed by ServerGuide 4.1.2 the registry is modified to look for the
drivers required by each service into the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory but the drivers are not
there, they were copied into the C:\%PROGRAMD% instead.
