TEXT:

ServeRAID Administration and Monitoring date display problem.

SYMPTOMS:

Date displays incorrectly in year 2000 and beyond.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

FIX:

Download and apply the "IBM ServeRAID Administration And Monitoring Programs Diskette"
from the following URL:

http://www.pc.ibm.com/searchfiles.html
search on "ServeRAID Administration Monitoring"

The corresponding Text file (00N9012.TXT) is viewable on-line and may be printed.

To creating the update diskette; the downloaded file (00N9012.EXE) is a self-extracting executable file that will prompt for a diskette.
Follow instructions on the display to create the diskette.

Use the setup.exe program located on the diskette to install the updated IBM ServeRAID Administration Program.

DETAILS:

If a logical drive is created with the ServeRAID Administration and Monitoring program in the year 2000, the creation date of the logical drive will display as the year 1900 instead of 2000.
This is a display problem only and does not affect the function of the ServeRAID controller in any way.
