Netfinity 3000: Some customers may require a two (2) drop IDE cable if installing a second supported IDE device.

SYMPTOMS:

When trying to install a supported IDE option, there is not an available drop on the IDE cable to connect the option.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

•  The system is a Netfinity 3000 server, Type 8476, any Model.
•  The system is configured with IDE cable 01K1932.
•  The system is being configured with a supported IDE option.

FIX:

A two (2) drop IDE cable is available as FRU 12J4518.
