Abstract: ADAPTER IRQ CHANGES / ADAPTER NOT VISIBLE in CONFIGURATION

SYMPTOM:

1.  Adapter is not visible in the configuration when using SCU 3.61 or prior versions.
2.  Adapter Interrupt setting changes on reboot.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

•  The system is one of the following IBM servers:
  •  PC Server 704, Type 8650, any Model.
  •  Netfinity 7000 server, Type 8651, any Model.

•  The system's SCU Utility is version 3.61 or prior versions.
•  The system's BIOS level 14 or prior.

FIX:

Symptom #1 is fixed by SCU 3.80 and symptom #2 is fixed by BIOS 16.
