The following IBM tower models:

6898 - IntelliStation M-Pro
6892 - PC300PL
8644 - Netfinity 3500
8476 - Netfinity 3000

may be mounted in a horizontal position as long as the following clearances are met:

•  102 mm (4 in.) clearance in the front with adequate venting.
•  127 mm (5 in.) clearance in the rear with adequate venting.
•  55 mm (2 in.) clearance for three other sides when horizontal:
   Left side, Right side, and Top (cover) side.
•  CD-ROM retention clips or bar are engaged when a CD is present in the CD-ROM drive.

The clearances above are necessary for proper ventilation, and if not met, may void the product warranty.
