Abstract: SYSTEM HANGs with NT 4.0 SP3 in SMP MODE and TCP/IP

SYMPTOM:

The System Hangs evident by the following:

•  The Mouse cursor cannot be moved on the screen
•  The NumLock, CapsLock, and ScrollLock lights on the  keyboard cannot be illuminated by pressing their respective keys.

•  The System is any PC Server / Netfinity server that supports  and is properly configured with ALL of the following:
  •  SMP (Symetrical Multi Processor)
  •  Windows NT 4.0 Server SP3 Enterprise Edition / Non Enterprise Edition
  •  Microsoft TCP/IP
