Overview
The IBM X.25 Interface Co-Processor, with supporting software, enables
the attachment of an ISA-bus-compatible (AT-bus) personal computer system to an X.25 Packet-Switched Network
so that the personal computer can operate as a packet terminal. Synchronous connection to the
network is supported through an interface that can be configured as either X.21 or X.21-bis using selectable optional cable.
The X.25 Interface Co-Processor adapter has its own microprocessor and memory, allowing it to perform communication functions.
