General Checkout 6272 Models 88x, 89x, 90x, 91x
This general checkout and diagnostic procedure is for the Type 6272, Models 88x
89x, 90x, 91x only.
These models come without a diskette drive (disketteless) and without a CD-ROM.
Depending on the operating system and network configuration, the method of running diagnostics varies.
It is the customer's responsibility to make the IBM PC Enhanced Diagnostics accessible from either:

- Power-off the computer and all external devices.
- Check all cables and power cords.
- Make sure the computer is connected to a functioning network.
- Set all display controls to the middle position.
- Power-on all external devices.
- Power-on the computer.
- Check for the following response:
1. One beep
2. Operating system or diagnostics loaded
NOTE: If the operating system loader screen appears, select an operating system.
