General Checkout Introduction

Before using the General Checkout procedures and Symptom-to-FRU Indexes, read
(and also understand) the following information.

The two types of PS/2 computers are:

•  AT-ISA Bus 
•  MICRO Channel

•  Diagnostics QAPlus/PRO 

The General Checkout procedure are: 

•  General Checkout AT-ISA Bus / PS/1 / Aptiva and PC 100-300/700-Series
•  General Checkout Micro Channel
•  General Checkout QAPlus/PRO 

The Symptom-to-FRU Indexes are: 

•  Symptom-to-FRU Index AT-ISA Bus / PS/1 / Aptiva and PC 100-300/700-Series
•  Symptom-to-FRU Index Micro Channel
•  Symptom-to-FRU Index QAPlus/PRO
