  The TFT LCD for the notebook computer contains over 921.000 thin-film transistors. A small number of missing, discolored, or constantly lighted dots is characteristic of TFT LCD technology, but excessive pixel problems can cause viewing concerns.
The LCD should be replaced if the number of missing, discolored, or lighted dots in any background is 21 or more

12.1-Inch TFT Panel


 

Step Screw (Quantity) Color Torque
1 M2.5x4.8mm nylon-coated (2) Black 4 kgcm


When replacing: Make sure you use the correct screw and tighten the screw firmly to the torque specified.
Do not use the screw that you removed, use a new screw.


13.3-Inch TFT Panel
